Vyskytují se pesticidy v povodí Moravice dodnes?

Do pesticides occur in the Moravice River up to the present day? Search for the debts of the past by Jiří Šajer.

In the Czech part of the Odra River basin we can find Moravice River. There is a water reservoir Kružberk in upper part of the Moravice River basin. This reservoir is serving as a water source for drinking water supply. In the past there was sometimes dangerous concentrations of pesticides in surfice water. There occurred dangerous concentrations of pesticides especially for fish. This paper describes the pesticides actual occurence in upper part of the Moravice River. It is based on results of monitoring bottom river sediments and on monitoring by means of low cost semipermeable membranes. These membranes musn‘t be compared, associate or integrate with commercial produced semipermeable membranes (SPMD), which are protected by patents. Finally, we may note that maximal concentations of pesticides in Moravice River were considerably lower then imission standards given by the Governmental Decree No. 229/2007 Coll.
