Schwarzenberský plavební kanál

The admirable technical work, the Schwarzenberg navigation canal, located in Šumava National Park, was designed at the end of the 18. century by a forester and master builder Josef Rosenauer. It connected the inaccessible deep forests with the Danube river. The aim was to transport the fuel wood to Vienna easily.
